The basic goal for using HHO gas for your car is pretty simple. We just want to increase our gas mileage and save some money.
The process of making the HHO gas is done through electrolysis. Meaning you run some conductors in water then apply electricity and out comes a flammable gas. The most common conductor that is currently being used is high grade stainless steel.
No one, at least that I know of, is running a car completely on HHO. It is being used as a fuel additive that is injected directly into your intake to help you improve your fuel mileage.
When this new fuel is introduced into your system then you will need to lean out your fuel mixture to be able to see a savings on gasoline. For newer cars this will require a Map Sensor Enhancer or an EFIE device (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer) to be installed along with the HHO generator.
